Route Notes Nepalese Gov't Press Release - 10 women climb Mount Nirekha   Ten out of 15 women of the First Asian Women's Nirekha expedition scaled the 6159 meters high Mount Nirekha on the Mahalangur range on October 13, 2003, Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) said.   The successful climbers were Korean nationals Ms. Oh Eun-sun, Sang-eung, Iranian citizens Mrs. Zarifeh Rhaimzadeh, Ms. Parvin Rozaeel, Ms. Laloh Koshavarz, Ms. Sedagheh Maghadam, Ms. Vida Porya Parchami and assistant Jalal Cheshmeh Ghasabani.   Ms. Dolma Sherpa, Ang Lhakpa Sherpa, Ang Jangbu Sherpa and Lhakpa Sherpa were in the team from Nepal as expedition assistants.   Organised by the Union of Asian Alpine Association (UAAA), the expedition had three members each from Korea and Mongolia and eight Iranians and a Nepali climber Ms. Dolma Sherpa from Nepal. The UAAA contributes for the promotion of mountaineering and addresses issues related to it in Asian nations. The team which left for Lukla on October 2 will be back on October 17, 2003.
