Route Notes BC at North Annapurna Glacier SE of mountain. BC lower than planned. Put here because from this place could see entire route. Route above C3 was on back side of photo on SE Face behind small ridge. Between ABC to C1 falling stone and snow avalanches. C1 to C2 very hard technical climb. C2 to C3 difficult 200m rock then knife ridge but above that not so difficult. 1st summit team left C3 8:00 am and on top 12:00 noon and descended to C2. 2nd team 2 hrs C3 to top. Used 1600m fixed rope total (from 4900m to C3). Much snowfall and avalanching but climbed quickly because of low food supplies. Left BC 11th Sept.
Accidents Minor injuries from falling stones; 1 summiter fell 100m
