Route Notes BC at 1 tent only (at Samagaon) C1 at Naike Col C2 above Icefall C3 before North Col C4 just below plateau. 29th Koehler and Meutzner left C4 at 7:00 am, an hour later than Wiegand and Stingl and turned back at 7500m thinking they were too late. 10th May Meutzner and Ehrlich too tried for top but got only to 7600m and back because of clouds getting dense and feared white-out.
