Route Notes BC slightly below other's camps High point at NE Face. Had problem to reach C2 because of big crevasse at 6400m which forced bivouacs below it till finally brought ladder from village to cross it. Made C2 at 6900m instead of intended 7000m because of wind. Whole route dangerous with lot of icefalls. Had 2 periods of waiting because of 10-day and 11-day snowstorms. Finally gave up because food and kerosene supplies finished. Tried to go to top from 22 Oct from BC but got no higher than C2 by 24th and now climb ended.
Accidents David Chantladze and Merab Nemsitsveridze had bronchitis and left early
