Route Notes Biv at C3 at 7200m 13 Oct (not a fixed camp because high winds prevented putting one up on way to summit). 14th summit party retreated to C2 in storm that lasted couple of days. Next summit bid on 17th stopped at same place, using Italian tent instead of only biv tent. This bid aborted by high altitude sickness by Britons sirdar Moti Lal Gurung. Now lot of wind and unsettled weather and not enough strength to combat drifting snow.
