Route Notes High point at start of plateau. 29 Sept people stayed in C2 2 nights and returned to BC on 1 Oct; snowfall 5 nights and 4 days non-stop and avalanche close to base camp 7 Oct with much wind from it. Now very dangerous to go up. On 8 Oct 4 members waiting in BC to bring down gear or try for top if weather good. 12th summit push to 7300-7500m by Iman Gurung with Roge. No C3 made because other Sherpas did not carry up supplies in deep snow. Had already found C2 buried in snow and had to put up new tent there. Not possible to reach summits without making C3 first. 12th Oct summit bid made from C2 and they returned to C2 and then on down and climb finished. Helicopters from Samagaon to KTM arranged for 16 Oct. Note: 5 Nepalis instead of Sherpas above BC.
