Route Notes BC at 100-200m higher than other teams. Strong wind on summit day. Um and Ngati lift C3 at 3:30 am on 27 Sept for summit. 5:00 am they overtook elderly Japanese, Ishikawa and 2 Sherpas. 10:00 am 3 Italians caught up with Um and Ngati and all 5 went to top together at 11:30 am (Japanese had arrived at top 11:15 am). Was sure he reached very highest point, much snow on summit.
Accidents Nothing except 1 Sherpa slipped 100m with snow avalanche but not hurt
