Route Notes BC at normal site for C1 (Swiss and Italians BC here this autumn) C1 Naike Col C3 at North Col C4 on NE Ridge. Bayona and Belmonte tried for summit on 6th Oct from C4 and reached 7900m; snow knee-deep so very tired (and tired from previous day's climb to ridge and not good sleep that night). So down to C2 on 6th. Another summit party reached only C3 on 7th Oct, but very strong winds so down to C2 on 8th and stayed there till 10th, when snowfall and wind sent them down to BC and climb finished. Now expedition had not enough time to wait for better weather, very tired and 3 members avalanched on 26 Sept not summit material afterwards.
Accidents Antoni Llasera, Frederic Puig and Joan Vila hit by slab avalanche on Sep 26, slightly injured
