Route Notes From col to 7400m was on ridge and there are 2 rock pinnacles which took on right side on SE Face (Pungma side) and after turning pinnacles returned almost to Ridge. Reached col by couloir which gave some trouble in last 400m very steep ice and couloir, took 1200m fixed rope. Couloir very dangerous chute for any snow that fell - couloir was crux of the route. Route climbed actually followed S Ridge only about for 150m. Were mostly on SE Face, says Wielicki Aug 25, 1986. Two members left very early for personal reasons.
