Route Notes Vivekananthan Thushyanthan was a client of Himalayan Shephard on the AH permit. Grace Tseng was a client of Dolma Outdoors on the AH permit. Report from Grace Tseng: Approach: Flight by heli BC 18/09 4800m C1 22/09 5600m C2 no sleeping C3 24/09 6700m C4 no sleeping Smt 04/10 by Tseng and all Sherpas. Spent two night at C1 from 22-24/09. At C3 on 24/09. On 25/09 down to BC. Waited in BC until 03/10 for weather window. On 03/10 started at 6:30 pm from BC. No time to rest on the way. At C1 at 7:55 pm, at C2 at 10:25 pm, at C3 at 11:20 pm, at C4 at 3:58 am. On the summit at 7:30 am on 04/10. Nima Gyalzen and Grace started together from BC, other 2 Sherpas Phurba Thiley and Lhakpa Tamang joined them from C2 on. On the summit for 10-15 minutes. Strong winds, snow, very cold, hostile conditions. Back down at BC at 5:30 pm on 04/10. Had to wait long time at Samagaon for helicopter back to KTM. Left BC on 06/10. Grace and Gyalzen heading to Cho Oyu next and Shishapangma after if Grace will be allowed the permit from the Chinese. Oxygen: Taken and used by all Sherpas from C2 to summit and down to C2 (6300m). Not used by Tseng. Hired: Nima Gyalzen Sherpa (S), from Rolwaling Phurba Thiley Sherpa (S), from Rolwaling Lhakpa Tamang (S), from Kavre
