| Route Notes | BC 14/09 4700m C1 16/09 5800m C2 19/09 6200m C3 20/09 6800m C4 26/09 7400m F-Smt 27/09 by Chatur, Jeb Tamang, Pasang Chhiring Sherpa, Sergey Belkin, Abildaev (no O2) and Klemiashov at 7:30 am, Valeriia Merkureva (no O2) at 10 am. First summit team left C4 at 2 am. Good weather, good conditions. Many people on the summit. Belkin, Klemiashov, Chatur, Jep Tamang and Pasang Chhiring descended to BC where they arrived at 6 pm. Merkureva and Abildaev descended to C3 where they stayed the night. On 28/09 they descended to BC. F-Smt 02/10 by Rustam Nabiev (no legs, no prothesis), Ermakova, Chechnev and Mingma Gyalje’s Sherpas listed below at 10:30 am. Dawa Gyalje Sherpa Dawa Tenjin Sherpa Kilu Pemba Sherpa Pemba Tenjin Sherpa Thundu Sherpa Chatur Tamang did not have enough Sherpa so Mingma Gyalje provided five of his Sherpas to him. Rustam’s team left C4 at 1 am. They reached the fore-summit at 10:30 am and descended to C3 where they arrived at 5 pm. On 03/10 they descended to BC. Rustam climbed without legs and without prosthesis and will be the first to have done so. No Summit: Oxana Morneva to C1 only, problems in her knee. Afanasyeva, Antonov and Borisov were BC staff, but reached C1 together with the team. They never intended to summit. Hula, Bauer, Stejskal reached C2; they climbed without support and gave up at C2 (they only had one Sherpa between them). Left BC on on 29/09 and 04/10. Oxygen: Taken and used from C4 to summit to C4 by everyone except Abildaev and Merkureva. |
