Route Notes From The Himalayan Times, Rajan Pokhrel - 24 Sept 2019 Tashi Lakpa Sherpa, Director of the Seven Summit Treks, said that a rope fixing team comprising Nima Dorchi Sherpa, Ngima Thinduk Sherpa and Tenjing Chhombi Sherpa from Makalu and Namgyal Bhote from Bodkhola, Sankhuwasabha along with renowned climber Ali Sadpara from Pakistan made it to the summit point opening its climbing route above Camp IV at around 1:45 pm. The team, which struggled for hours to trace the route due to deep snow, finally made to the summit after the mountain witnessed fair weather, Sherpa told THT from the base camp. “The rope-fixing team had left for the high camps on Friday to open the summit route,” he added. From Ali Sadpara - 2 Oct 2019 BC 06/09 C1 C2 C3 15/09 C4 Smt 24/09 Ali Sadpara, Ngima Dorchi Sherpa, Ngima Thenduk Sherpa, Tenji Chhumbi Sherpa, Namgya Bhote. Ali Sadpara climbed as part of the rope-fixing team of SST. He is sponsored by SST and the Pakistan Army. Team tried to summit on 23/09, but too windy, turned around at 7300m. On 24/09 summit by fixing team. Summit at 1:40 pm. Started from C3 at 8 pm on 23/09. After summit down to BC at 9 pm. Difficult conditions, quite risky and dangerous in summit area, a lot of small avalanches. A lot of wind. Ali Sadpara left BC on 30/09. Oxygen: Not taken not used by Sadpara. Other Sherpas from C4 to summit and down to C4. Fixed rope: from BC to summit Ali Sadpara next to Dhaulagiri I. He takes a heli to BC on 03/10.
