Route Notes BC 21/04 4800m C1 25/04 5604m HPt 26/04 6000m (just below the hour-glass) by all members and Tamang. The team tried several times to make progress on the mountain, however, the weather did not permit. It was snowing almost every day (only three days snow-free). On 08/05 they ascended to C1 again and due to the bad weather forecast they decided to go home. On 09/05 a powder avalanche came down from the wall on the right side of BC and destroyed some of the tents of the Wild Yak expedition. This team lost their kitchen tent. Climb abandoned on 08/05 due to bad weather, too much snow. Team left BC on 10/05. Fixed rope: 40m at 6000m Oxygen: Not taken, not used
