| Route Notes | Acclimatization went very well. After that we were stuck in BC for way too long, lots of us started getting ill in this waiting period. When the weather changed and we went for summit push some of us had to turn because of health issues and some had to turn because of weather conditions (strong winds). Some members of the team wanted to go for summit push already earlier, but it wasn't possible for them because of the catastrophic rope-fixing job that was done on the mountain. The company that was responsible for the fixing this year did a really poor job in general which made some parts really dangerous for many people this year because of their lack in professionalism! |
