Route Notes BC 30/09 4800m C1 02/10 5800m C2 05/10 6400m HPt 06/10 6800m (C3 site) by Khoo, Mingma Gyabu. Khoo and Mingma Gyabu left C1 at 9 am on 6 Oct and climbed all the way to C3. However, the snow was very deep and the rope that had been fixed by other teams was buried and iced up, so they could not retrieve it. When they reached C3 they decided to abandon the expedition due to the bad conditions. They descended to C2, where they arrived at 5 pm and stayed the night on 6 Oct. Dhiren Doshi reached C1 on 2 Sept; he abandoned the expedition due to his problems with acclimatizing. Oxygen: Taken and used from C2 to high point to C2 by Khoo.
