Route Notes BC 10/09 4850m C1 14/09 5800m C2 23/09 6507m C3 28/09 6850m C4 29/09 7450m Smt 30/09 by Sieveking, Lhakpa at 6:15 am, Bauer and Pema Nuru at 8:15 am. Summit team left C4 at 1:15 am. Light snowfall, no wind. Straightforward climb. Sieveking and Lhakpa stayed for about 15 minutes on the summit and descended to C2, where they arrived at 1:30 pm. They stayed the night at C2 and descended to BC the following day. Bauer and Pema Nuru stayed about 10 minutes on summit and descended to C3, where they arrived at 3:30 pm. Manuela Brand reached 6950m on 29 Sept. She turned back after one hour as she was feeling dizzy. She went back to BC, where she arrived at 2 pm. Markus Brand reached C1 on 22 Sept. He had been suffering from the flu for most of the expedition and stayed at BC and managed his team from there. Harold Bauer reached 6200m on 23 Sept. He had not been feeling well for most of the expedition. He was suffering from fatigue. He left BC on 30 Sept to trek back via Larkya La. Ruppen reached C2 on 23 Sept. He had cold feet and felt weak and decided to abandon expedition. He left BC with Bauer on 30 Sept to trek back via Larkya La. Oxygen: Taken and used from 7450m to top to C3 by Sieveking Taken and used from top to C4 by Lhakpa Sherpas: Pema Nuru, Paiya, Jubing, 27/01/75 Lhakpa [Nuru]
