Route Notes BC 14 Sep 4800m C1 17 Sep 5700m C2 22 Sep 6400m C3 08 Oct 6800m HPt 09 Oct 7200m by Allewell, Beresford, Evans, Smith, Taylor, Stacey, Lhakpa, Tshering, Tashi, Pertemba. High point team left C3 at 10 am. They left so late due to the high winds. Enroute, the rope was partially buried and they had to pull it out as they went along. However, when they got to 7200m at about 1 pm, they decided to turn around as the rope was covered in ice and they were unable to pull it out. They descended to C2, where they arrived at 4 pm. On 10 Oct they dismantled the camps and descended to BC. Colwill reached about 5200m on 17 Sept. He had chest pain and difficulties breathing and was medivaced to Kathmandu on 20 Sept. He is fine now. Hensman reached Camp 1 on 17 Sept. On his second trip to C1 on 21 Sept he had a TIA (Transcient Ischemic Attack). Allewell and Stacey were with him and dragged him down to BC and then to Samagaon, from where he was flown back to Kathmandu the following day, on 22 Sept. He was using oxygen from just below crampon point (about 5100m) to BC. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to high point to C3 by all members Taken and used from 5100m to BC on the descent by Hensman
