At 1 am a strong storm came up, which made it impossible to go out. The storm was howling the whole night and at 9 am they decided to abandon their climb. They descended to BC, where they arrived at 4 pm. Oxygen: Not taken, not used Sherpas: Pemba Norbu/Nurbu, Ghunsa, Lelep-9, Taplejung, 06/12/1978
