Route Notes Summit team left C3 at 3:30 am. Weather and conditions were very good. There was a bit of a traffic jam on the bottom of the cornice so they had to wait for about half an hour for Russell Brice's team to come down. They went all the way up to the end of the fixed ropes to the top of the cornice. They only took a quick picture on the summit before they descended. Ji Han, Yi Wang, Karma Gyalzen, Tendi and Pemba descended to C1, where they arrived at 7 pm. Yang Gao and Walung descended to C2, where they arrived at 5 pm. Xiang-Wen Kou and Sonam descended to base camp, where they arrived at 8:30 pm. On 26 Sept everyone descended to BC. Wei was expedition leader and did not intend to climb. He stayed at BC. Oxygen: Taken and used from C2 to summit to C2 by members; Sherpas not used Sherpas: Karma Gyalzen, Makalu-9, 04/09/83 Pemba Sherpa, Makalu, Everest 1X Sonam Sherpa, Makalu-5 Walong Dorje Sherpa, Makalu, Everest Tendi Sherpa
