| Route Notes | BC 05 May 4700m C1 17 May 5600m C2 20 May 6500m HPt 21 May 6600m by Anselm Baud, Christopher Baud, Costa, Pemba Gyalzen, Tendi Sherpa. The expedition never intended to summit as they were looking for the body of Gregory Costa, who died in the avalanche in autumn 2012. They were looking from C2. The body should be at about 6600m, but Baud thinks that the glacier has moved about 150m over the past nine months. They used GPS for the search and Reco, which responds to metal, watches and telephones. They spent two days searching around at an altitude of about 6600m, but they could not find anything. There was a lot of snow, which made the search difficult. They stopped after two days and descended to BC on 22 May. The team will not come back as finding the body seems impossible.
