Route Notes Schedule ascent: On 8th and 9th of October: the team slept at C1 for acclimatization and went back to BC. On 12th of October: aiming to reach C3 in the day coming, the team met a huge windslab just under C1. From C1, Vivien-Raguet went first alone with his 3 Sherpas for C2, but it was just a lot of fresh snow (snow until middle of the legs, sometimes to the hips) with huge crevasses everywhere! Then 4 groups joined (Iranians, Polish, Ecuadorians, Argentineans and other Sherpas) and tried again to climb with a ladder but never reached C2. Then Vivien-Raguet just took any gear left on the mountain and went back to the BC. The news from the weather forecast engineer being quite bad for the day after, with no summit day opportunity at all for the next days, he decided to abandon the climb and leave BC the day after. 1 member left BC the 11th of October: Sydney Dalmayrac. 3 other members left BC the 13th of October: Paul-Andre Braun, Fabien Cyrille, Bruno Puntel. Oxygen: Oxygen not used; hyperbaric chamber at BC. Sherpas: Sirdar Keshap Gurung, 31 March 1979, Laprak-4, Gorkha Iman Gurung, 14 March 1981, Laprak, Gorkha Dambar Gurung, 2 Aug 1980, Laprak-Gorkha
