Route Notes On 14 May, the team started on their summit push from BC on 14 May and reached C2, but immediately retreated to C1 because a snowstorm had begun. The next day they descended to BC. Now the weather forecast predicted unfavorable weather for the 16th. They had no time to wait for better weather, so the climb was cancelled. A note about oxygen: oxygen was taken for a medical emergency. This group had no emergency, but another German team led by Luis Stitzinger did, and Wolf gave his supply to them.
