Route Notes Damien Francois is very disillusioned with his expedition as his Sherpa Mingma Tshering only had 10 days to climb the mountain. When the weather did not improve, the team decided to leave base camp on 26th September and go to Samagaon from where they took a helicopter back to Kathmandu. Francois did not go higher than C1. He reached C1 on 20 Sept, stayed a night and came back down the following day, stayed at BC and then decided to leave on 24 Sept. He had problems with his Sherpa (the Sherpa did not have enough time) and as the weather was bad and did not get better they left. It was raining all the time. Sherpas: Mingma Tshering, Beding
