Route Notes Fixed rope = 2200m from C1 to C4. Kim Mi-Gon, Sanu and Chinjung Bhote started their summit bid from C4 at midnight of 8 May. The team got to the top at 6 am on 9 May. Six-seven members of Indian expedition with two Sherpas also reached the summit almost same time. The team stayed on summit for about an hour and descended to C4 at 9:15 am. The team continued to descend to BC where it arrived at 3:30 pm. The main objective of the expedition was to bring dead body of Park and to search for another missing climber Yun in 2010 (Korea Expressway Corporation Expedition - Spring). The search team consisting of Kim Mi-Gon, Sanu and Tashi Sherpa found the body of Park at 7550m on 28 April and carried down to C3. On 29 April the body was taken down to C2. Then the body was taken to Samagaon by helicopter on 4 May and same day to Kathmandu. Park's body was cremated in Kathmandu on 11 May at the presence of his father, sister and aunt. The team searched for the other missing climber Yun's body for three days around 7300m, but there was no trace of body and they called off the search.
