Route Notes La Terra and Michalski left C3 at around midnight on 19th April for their summit push. It was snowing and very windy. Visibility about one metre. They reached C4 site at 4:30 am. As the weather did not improve, they decided to descend to BC the same day. It took them about 8 hours to go back and they arrived at BC at about 4 pm. They stayed in BC for the time being (with outings to Samagaon) and started their second push on 10th May. They moved directly to C2, then C3 and then again C4, where they arrived on 12th may at 11:30 am. It was impossible to stay up there, as it was too windy (150 km/hr). They dismantled C2 and C1 on the way down and descended to BC. They left BC on 14th May and walked back to Arughat in two days.
