Route Notes On summit day, Koller and Jorquera left C3 at 4:30 am. Rutllant was not feeling well on the day, so he decided to remain in C3, which was his high point. Weather was calm and clear. Jorquera stopped at about 8000m due to very cold feet. He stayed at the point to wait for Koller to come back from the summit. Koller spent only a few minutes on the summit and descended back to Jorquera, and even though he had carried his skies all the way up to the summit, he was too tired to ski down. He walked down to C3; however, Jorquera skied down from his high point to C3, where Ruttlant had been waiting for them. Even though Koller was walking, he reached C3 before Jorquera as Jorquera had stopped at one point to rest. Koller arrived at C3 at 3:45 pm and Jorquera arrived at 3:55 pm. Everyone stayed at C3 that night. On 29 Sept Koller descended by foot from C3 to BC. He was not feeling well and still too tired to ski down. He descended to BC that day. Rutllant and Jorquera left C3 at 11 am and skied from about 7000m to C1, where they arrived at 7:30 pm and stayed the night. On 30 Sept they cleared their C1, put the gear on a sledge and skied down to crampon point at about 5000m. They started skiing from C1 at 11:30 am, reached crampon point at 3 pm and arrived at BC at 5:25 pm. They left the sledge at crampon point and picked it up the following day.
