Route Notes Avila, Ossa and Torres left C4 at 1:30 am on good weather condition on 14 May. When the team reached at 7800m at 6 am started very strong wind. It was not possible for the climbers to continue their climb. The team turn around to C4 where they reached at 8 am. They cleared the camp and descended to C3 where they arrived at 11 am and spent the night. Next day to BC. The team made its summit bid on 14 May depending on the weather forecast from Netherlands which indicated that 14 May will be of good weather. On 15 May Maxut, 2 Germans, 1 Australian and on Sherpa summited Manaslu in good weather conditions. The Colombian team could not wait for next day attempt to summit because they did not have enough supplies in C4. The team returned to Kathmandu on 22 May and trying to leave Nepal as soon as possible. The team members have their out bound plane ticket for 9 June. Leader Ossa hopefully looks forward to come for Kangchenjunga in 2009. Fixed rope: 7400m from C1 to C4 (completely fixed over a meandering route)
