Route Notes High point at 10m above little col. Parker, Grayling, Pasang Sherpa and Phurba left C4 at 6 am. Conditions were good with minimal snow. Grayling reached to about 7800m but turned back with Pasang due to cold hands and feet. They descended to C2. Parker and Phurba carried on to summit; however, they only reached the point about 10m above little col. The traverse to the higher point about 60m across seemed too dangerous. On way down they dismantled C4 and reached C2 at 4 pm. BC on 19 May. Grayling developed blood clot in his leg on way out in Samagaon. He rode a horse to Arunghat and took bus back to Kathmandu. He went to CIWEC, where he was diagnosed with a bloot clot in his leg and referred to a hospital. The clot was removed but when I talked to him on phone on 3 June he was still in hospital and still had trouble walking. He was released on 4 June. Parker took a helicopter from Samagaon on 23 May. Fixed rope: 100m between C3 and C4. Sherpas: Pasang Nurbu, 1954/55 (2011), Thamo/Pare Phurba Chheten, 8/6/84 (26/2/2041), Khumjung, Ev 16/5/07
