| Route Notes | On 19 Sept Bosch, Brodkorb, Sanford and Velez climbed up to fix C3 at 7200m. While the climbers were at 7200m, the Swiss team radioed Sanford that a storm was approaching towards the mountain, so then the team descended to C2, slept there, and the next day to BC. The team went to C1 on 1 Oct and next day to C2. The team found that their tents were totally damaged and swept down by avalanche. The team collected its gear and went back to C1. Next day to BC. Morrison probably reached up to C1. Parker joined with Swiss team went up to C2 on 14 Sept. He returned Kathmandu on 10 Oct and leaves after 4-5 days. From 15 Oct, stayed at Hotel Tenki. White left expedition on 12 Sept due to his family problem. Rest of the members returned Kathmandu on 6 Oct. |
