Amical Alpin Manaslu Expedition, Spring 2007 - 29 May 2007 Summit party left C3 at 2:00 am on the 19th. Three turned back before the top: Assfalg at 7600m because both thumbs had gotten frostbitten (he descended to C2), Johannes Bachmann also at 7600m and down to C2 because his feet were very cold; and Karma Gyalzen Sherpa at 7900m because of a stomach problem and cold feet. Those who went to the summit were Dujmovits, Eberhard, Hadel, Stihler, Josep Bachmann, Fessler, Takeuchi, Vedani and Pasang Nuru Sherpa. They summited between 9:55 and 10:55 am. All went down to C2 except Hadel, who was exhausted and reached C3 only at 9:30 pm and Dujmovits, who gone up from C3 to the summit plateau to look for him, but it was foggy so returned to C3 and waited for Hadel and stayed with him there that night.
