| Route Notes | Oct 2 Hofmannova and Kolar left C3 at 07:00 hours, reached summit at 16:00 hours, stayed on summit about 45 minutes, descended to C3 at 19:00 hours. Next day to BC. Summit day weather was clear but windy. There was nobody else on the summit on that day. Oct 3 Matousek and Novakova left C3 at 05:00 hours. Novakova had to turn around from 7600m to C3 waiting for Matousek to return to C3. Matousek summited at 20:00 hours. It was windy and started snowfall. He stayed on summit about 20 minutes, descended to C3 around 06:00 hours of Oct 4, stayed at C3 that day. Next day C2. It was very cold, strong wind. The team returned to Kathmandu on Oct 11 by helicoptr and will leave on Oct 16. Churavy went up to 7050m; he was tired and gave up further climbing. |
