Route Notes BC at normal site above Samagaon (at end of moraine) C1 at rock ridge 100m above Naike Col. Only 2 days of fine weather, much snowfall. 4 tents in C1 buried by 2.5m of snow. 14th April to BC. On 20th April 8 members (not Palop and Sabadell) from C1 to high point of 6400m: stopped by big snow avalanche, so back to C1 to sleep. Stayed in C1 until 21 April and down to BC. Afterwards went to C1 6-7 times opening route again by placing rope; avalanching sent them down again. On 27th April at about 6200m, encountered crevasse that was new at least 1.5m wide. Last time in C1, 8th May Blanco up from C1 to only 6200m and found snow conditions still dangerous and climb abandoned. All in BC 9th May. Left BC 10th May and returned to KTM via Marshyangdi River.
