Route Notes BC as same as others this spring C2 at 200m below col. 12 May members Han and Kim Hong-Bin left C3 9:30 am with an Italian member and his Sherpa. Han and Kim climbed together to 8000m, when Kim became very tired and feared trouble descending last section from top on hard blue ice alone. Han stronger climber and moved up alone to top quickly (though also tired). Kim stopped at 10:30 am and down to C2. Han also down to C2 after half-hour on top taking pictures. Arrived C2 at 4:00 pm. Kim happy to have gotten to 8000m but would be really happy if he had summited - has no fingers. All to BC 13 May for lunch and same day to Samagaon: 2 nights in Samagaon and helicopter to KTM. Kim Hong-Bin to Everest South Aut 2000 with 2 Sherpas on normal route.
