Route Notes Report from Sirbaz Khan: Approach: Heli to ABC ABC 18/05 5700m C2 19/05 6600m C3 21/05 7500m Smt 28/05 by Khan and Mingma G at 8 am without O2, and other members with O2. Khan was already acclimatised from his previous expeditions to Kangchenjunga. He started his summit push from ABC on 23/05 and ascended to C2 on that day. But later that night it was clear that the weather was not favourable for his envisaged summit on 26/05. On 24/05 he descended to ABC and rested till 26/05. On 26/05 he reached C2 and on 27/05 C3. Khan and Mingma G left C3 at 9 pm. Weather and conditions good. They reached the summit at 8 am and spent one hour at the summit. They descended to ABC where they arrived at 7 pm. They left BC by heli on 29/05. Rzucidlo reached C2, but had problems with her eyes and abandoned the expedition. She returned to BC where she stayed for 2 nights. On 26/05 she took a helicopter back to Kathmandu. Report from Victor Rimac: ABC 21/05 5700m by heli from Lukla C2 22/05 6600m C3 23/05 7300m C4 27/05 7500m Smt 28/05 by Rimac (together with Mingma G and Khan) at 8:30 am. Rimac was at C3 for his first summit push, but he decided not to go as he was coughing too much. So he descended to ABC on 24/05. He rested for two days and left ABC for his second summit push on 26/05. Rimac left C4 at 11 pm. Straightforward climb. Spent about 30 mins on the summit and descended to BC where he arrived at 7:30 pm. Left BC on 29/05. Oxygen: Not taken, not used on LHOT and MAKA. Rimac was a client of Elite Expeditions on the Imagine Nepal permit.
