Route Notes BC 09/04 5100m ABC 12/04 5630m C1 -- C2 25/04 6600m C3 02/05 7400m C4 17/05 7550m HPt 18/05 8410m just below false summit by Celikovic, Nima Dorjee, Phurba at 7:30 am. High-point team left C4 at 8:30 pm on 17 May. Weather was Ok. When they got to the French Couloir, they only found the 6mm rope that was put in by Dorjee Sherpa from Peak Promotion. Nima Dorjee put Celikovic on a short rope halfway up the French Couloir all the way towards the summit as the fixed rope finished at the top of the French Couloir and Celikovic was a bit nervous. They reached their high point at 7:30 am. Celikovic felt too nervous to continue on the ridge without proper fixed rope, and he was happy to stop there. This was his personal summit. He spent about half an hour at his high point to take pictures and then descended to C4 where he arrived at 1:30 pm. He stayed there for the night with his two Sherpas as they were tired. They descended to ABC on 19 May.
