| Route Notes | BC 22/04 4900m ABC 24/04 5700m C1 25/04 6400m C2 27/04 6640m C3 06/05 7400m Smt 25/05 by Cook, Nima Sherpa, Ngima Gyaljen at 5:10 am; by Burke, Lhakpa at 5:45 am. Summit team started from C3 at 7 pm on 24 May. They had decided to leave out C3 due the proximity between the two camps. Straightforward climb. Cook and Nima summited first and stayed there for about 45 minutes. Burke and Lhakpa stayed for about 15 minutes. On the way down, Cook took off his oxygen mask at about 8200m as his goggles kept on fogging up. Nima Sherpa and Cook descended to C3, where they arrived 11 pm and stayed the night. Lhakpa and Burke descended al the way to C2, where they arrived at 5 pm. On 26 May everyone was back at ABC.
