| Route Notes | Kim, Park, Mingma and Chhiji Nurbu left C4 at 8 pm on 7 May. Kim, Mingma and Chhiji Nurbu reached summit at 9:50 am on 8 May. They stayed on summit about 20 minutes then descended to C4. Next day to C3 and on 10th to BC. Park turned around from below 200m of summit due to strong wind and also he was tired. On his descent Park lost his way at 8000m and spent the night in open that caused the frostbite. Next day Sherpas found him around 9 am and brought down to C3. Next day to BC. Kim said that the summit ridge rope was wrongly placed and he put it in right route. One of the ropes was cut by exposed rock which Kim tied to a rock. The team took helicopter from Jangikharka to Tumlingtar on 16 May and plane to Kathmandu same day. Team will leave Nepal on 22 May. Kim said weather on summit day windy after 12 noon. Other climbers summited on that day were 3 Basques, one Italian and 4 Spanish. Kim is planning for next year Dhaulagiri or Annapurna or both.
