Route Notes BC as planned. On Baruntse had very bad weather. All members got to point 7057m, N Summit, on 15 Oct. Big cornices ahead so not worth trying for main summit with this danger. Same route as Jaeger probably. 1st part of Baruntse was problem because of cornices. Prachanda Khadga, Ministry of Tourism - 27 Oct 83 Baruntse abandoned often reached 7057m 15 Oct by all six members. Reason not given for giving up, nor from where started on 15th. Left BC 19 Oct. Makalu II SW Face: 28 Sept all 6 members started from C3 (altitude not known). 6:30 am and reached top from SW Face at 2:00 pm, stayed 1 hour and took photos on top. Left at 3:00 pm and returned to C3 at 6:30 pm. 29 Sept all members back in BC at 3:00 pm. All in good health. From 2 Oct plan climb Baruntse via N Ridge.
