Route Notes BC at Langshisa Glacier C1 at same site of New Zealand team in spring 1986. No snow below 5600m, weather good and full moon. Fixed rope from 6000m, where dangerous blue ice started, to summit; face very steep. Yang only to 5200m and 3 others only to 5000m; all members had headaches. Kim Bo-Youl and Dawa Sherpa left C1 4 am on 14th Dec and reached top 9:19 am, returned to BC 5 pm. Kim very tired but Dawa Sherpa very strong. 15th Dec Lee Dong-Myung and Ang Kami up from BC but weather turned bad with black clouds arriving and climbers turned back and expedition ended. Cho Soo-Young and Park Soon-Sek arrived BC 16th Dec same day expedition left BC; so with Kim Tae-Soon now arriving in BC, total 6 Koreans climbing.
Accidents Nothing serious; Kim Tae-Soon developed altitude sickness on approach march
