Route Notes BC 25/10 4300m at Langshisa Kharka. HC 27/10 5600m Smt 29/10 by Lhakpa Nuru Sherpa at 11:30 am. Climbing route: S Face to saddle, then W Ridge to summit. 25/10 BC at 4300m at Langshisa Kharka. 27/10 From BC to high camp (5600m). Rest day on 28/10 at high camp. HC located right on top of a ramp. Ramp maybe 45° with lots of rockfall. On 29/10 they left for the summit from HC at 4 am. Jankowski, Finden, Townsden, Ledet, Andersson got to high point 6200m just below the saddle at 12:30 pm. Lakpa Nuru Sherpa was the only one to summit at around 11:30 am and waited for them. But members still had at least 1.5 hours to go to summit. They were tired. Distance between HC and summit was longer than anticipated and it was getting late in the day. They decided to turn back. Last members back to HC at 6:15 pm. Ward and Riley stayed at BC because of sickness. Jones got spooked by rockfall, didn't want to go any further. Lathouder moved slowly and Ledet asked her to return. Lathouder and Jones descended with Mingma Sherpa. Team rturned to BC on 30/10, rested on 31/10 and left BC on 01/11 to Kyanjin. Oxygen: Taken, not used. Fixed rope: 500m pretty much the whole way from base of headwall (5700m) to highpoint (6200m). Hired: Lhakpa Nuru Sherpa, Phakding Nawang Sherpa, Kharikhola Mingma Sherpa, Kharikhola Sona Sherpa, Kharikhola Purba Sherpa, Kharikhola
