Route Notes BC at west side of small lake southeast of point 5551m and northwest of 5245m C1 on SE Ridge C2 just under East Summit High point at East Summit. Fixed 600m rope between C1 and E Summit. Very long ridge climb from E to W Summit with heavy equipment and probably one camp more. Perhaps 2 weeks more climbing. Had very good weather but fixed program left no time. For E Summit route quite easy except 150m last section below summit because of saw tooth ridge including 80-degree ice and very narrow ridge with very steep slopes on both side. Had used most of rope they brought. Skied down from C1 to BC. If more time available, would have done from higher up after putting in protecting rope and anyway snow not good. W Face possible to ski down but dangerous, difficult and most interesting. 3 went from BC to summit to BC on 5th Nov, while 3 others from C1 to summit to BC that day.
