Route Notes BC at lake between point 5551m & pt 5245m which appears to be normal site. Just below highest of 3 summits is big crevasse and then knife-edged where a fall would be fatal. Nielson reported it was extremely techically difficult with possible break of knife-edge. No evidence of anyone on previous attempts had passed crevasse - hard ice requiring ice axes. Nielson protected Gyaltzen who joined him on top (Gyaltzen had gone high on Everest with Nielson). Route to ridge also dangerous from avalanching.
Accidents Torobin had ear infection that upset his balance & kept him from climbing
