Route Notes From Lonnie Dupre's blog: Oct 07: Team drove from Kathmandu to Besishahar, then trekked to Syange. Oct 09-15: Trekked to Bimthang Oct 16: Dupre attempted Larke Peak (6249m), climbed to 5500m and turned around due to altitude sickness. Rest of team went to Namrung. Oct 17-23: Team trekked to Mu Gompa in Tsum Valley. Oct 26: Team moved to BC of Langju (4700m). Oct 29: Team move up to C1 (5550m) and climbed to 5700m before deciding that the route was too dangerous due to avalanching and dangerous winds-labs.
