Route Notes Did no climbing. Dewey got serious chest infection at BC so left expedition on 14. Snowfall on 12th and heavily on 14th-15th. 2 men to Tashi Lapcha Pass for Parcharmo climb. 16th big avalanche down North Face and swept down 9 climbers from 2 groups (3 Nepalis, 3 US and 3 French), so these two went to assist rescue which included sending for helicopter and got tired from these efforts. Snow conditions too dangerous to attempt to get to top; then went on 18th to SSW side of Langmoche Ri, "a beautiful mountain, great mountain to climb" in good snow conditions. Very happy with LO, so enjoyed the trip though didn't get on to mountain.
