| Route Notes | C2 in West Cwm C3 on Lhotse West Face. 25th down to BC and up from BC on 2nd May at 4 pm intending to go straight to top, but strong wind and snowfall stopped them in C2 for 3 nights (2nd, 3rd and 4th). On 5th to C3 and 6th 12:30 am from C3 for top. Groom got to top 11:00 am & Gustafsson 12 noon (slowly). "Pretty boring" climb. |
