Route Notes	Lakes and McNab started from C4 10:00 pm 30 Sept for top with Loretan and Troillet, but weather bad (wind) and snow river down couloir; Swiss much faster and went on to summit on 1 Oct while McNab turned back 100m below because frostbitten toes and fingers and Lakes to 7900m and then tired and descended. 2nd summit bid by only Pawlowski and Schleypen, who spent 3 nights in C2 and C3; Pawlowski to C4 on 10th 5:30 am left C4 (Chamoux and 2 Italians joined him at C4 and went to top same day - Chamoux left at 4:30 am) with 2 Italians and passed Chamoux and arrived at top 1:30 pm (Chamoux at 2 pm) after starting out with Lakes and McNab. Moro and Mondinelli stopped below summit.
