| Route Notes | Approach: Pangboche, Lobuche BC 12/04 5350m C1 20/04 5800m C2 22/04 6440m C3 17/05 7100m tagged on 04/05 C4 18/05 7900m EVER Smt 20/05 by members and Sherpas between 7:30 am and 8 am. Everest summit team left C4 at 1:30 am on 20/05. They decided to leave relatively late as there were not many people on the route. Weather was Ok. Not too windy, but cloudy; however, they got a view on the summit. Straightforward climb. All members descended to C4, where they stayed the night. The Everest team descended to C2 on 21/05 while the Lhotse team left for Lhotse at 1 am. Lhotse summited on 21/05 by members and Sherpas at 7:30 am. After the summit the Lhotse team descended to C2, where they arrived at about 2 pm. Oxygen: Taken and used from C2 to top to C2 by members Taken and used from C4 to top to C4 by Sherpas. |
