| Route Notes | Lukas Furtenbach cancelled his two Furtenbach Adventure expeditions due to safety concerns over the massive Covid outbreak in base camp. The officially cancelled their expeditions on May 15th, after they tested one member positive in their team. Ther teams were Covid free until they did the first rotation. They had a closed, isolated base camp and followed strict safety and hygiene protocols. In the Icefall they had contact with other teams for the first time. The next day they tested one member positive for Covid-19. |
