Route Notes	BC 08/04 5400m C1 ---- ---- C2 15/04 6,400m C3 18/05 7,350m C4 19/05 7,850m Smt 20/05 by Fronia at 7:47 am. On summit push Fronia and Tomala left C4 at 1 am. Conditions were very good, the snow was hard, perfect for climbing. At 8450m Tomala turned around because he was feeling very cold. Fronia continued and reached the summit. It was very windy and he only spent a few seconds at the summit. He saw a dead body just beneath the summit in a red Mountain Hardwear downsuit. On the descent, he found Tomala, who was frostbitten at nose and fingers and in very bad condition. They descended to C2 which they reached at 7 pm. Next day, they went down to BC. Left BC on 22 May by helicopter. Oxygen: Not taken, not used. Jaroslaw Gawrysiak was an independent climber.
