| Route Notes | BC 19/04 5400m C1 30/04 6100m C2 01/05 6500m C3 19/05 7200m C4 20/05 7800m Smt 21/05 by Zhang and one Sherpa at 9 am, Li and Mingma Sherpa at 10 am. Summit team left C4 at 1 am. Straightforward climb. Spent about 10 minutes on the summit and descended to C2, where they arrived at around midnight. Everyone down at BC on 22 May. Team left BC on 23 May by helicopter. Fei reached C2 on 1 May and spent three nights there. He suffered from pulmonary edema and was rescued by helicopter on 4 May. He stayed in hospital for five days and returned to China. Oxygen: Taken and used from C3 to top to C2 by members and Sherpas. |
